Getting to Cassis by train

Cassis SNCF station on the Marseille – Toulon – Nice line
Regular direct services from Marseille (approx. every 30 min.), Aubagne and Toulon

TGV connections from Marseille :

    • Paris (3h20), Lille, Strasbourg, Rennes, Nantes, Bordeaux, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, Barcelona, Milan…

Station opening times :

Changes to staff presence at stations on the Marseille – Les Arcs line.
Ticket offices closed, mobile teams present at Cassis:

    • Tuesdays from 1pm to 4pm
    • Wednesday, 9am to 12pm
    • Friday, 9am to 12pm.

The station is 3 km (about 40 minutes on foot) from the centre.

Access to the village :

    • Bus line 371 Casino – Gare – Le Brégadan

    • On foot (approx. 40 minutes, but beware of the uphill gradient on the return journey)

Where do I leave the motorway to go to Cassis?
Exit 8 – Cassis (toll)
Exit 6 – Carnoux then Cassis

Tip: Access via the panoramic Route des Crêtes ( from La Ciotat) – preferable outside periods of strong winds (note that the Route des Crêtes is pedestrianised on Sundays!).
