COUNTRY WALKS AND SEA KAYAKING (2 days/1 night)

Beginning in the charming village of Cassis, an ideal base from which to explore the massif of the Calanques; a succession of creeks which notch deeply into the coastline and display vertiginous cliffs as well as the ochre sea cliff, Cap Canaille.
Through the activities on offer, you will be able fully take advantage of this unique environment that is surrounded by a Mediterranean fauna and flora of rare beauty.

PROGRAM

•Drop your luggage off at your hotel ** situated in the heart of the village.
• Meet your guide(s).
• Presentation of the day and checking of all equipment :
• a picnic hamper put together by a local delicatessen will be given to each participant
• • Excitement guaranteed! Depart in sea kayaks for an excursion navigating the undisputedly magnificent coastline and to visit areas that are completely inaccessible by foot. You will begin with a short training session to explain the basic handling of the kayak and the relevant safety manoeuvres. You will soon experience the amazing sensations of gliding across the water.
• Return to the port of Cassis at the end of the afternoon and check into your hotel.
• Dine in the restaurant.
• Bed and breakfast in hotel(s) **.
• Meet with your guides for the day
• Presentation of the days activities. a picnic hamper put together by a local delicatessen will be given to each person.
• Depart for a hike: there are many routes to choose from of various levels of difficulty depending on the abilities of the participants. Picnic lunch.
• Pick up luggage from your hotel.

TARIFF

Price per person: starting from 167 € (tariff 2007 – based on 15 people)

LKayaking takes place from April to the end of October. Outside this period, we can propose other activities to suit you: please ask for more details!
Walking activities are prohibited during the period 1st July – 15th September because of the risk of fire during the dry season. Other activities are available on request during this period!

Our prices include:
- The kayaking excursion and all the necessary equipment
- The walking excursion along with qualified guides
- Two picnic hampers
- a restaurant dinner, 3 courses, 1/4 bottle of wine per person and coffee included
- One night in double room in a hotel **, breakfast and visitor's tax included.

Our prices do not include: :
- transport
- other possible supplements

- Coach parking fees and transfer to Cassis town centre.

Warning: Your walking guide can refuse to accompany you if you do not have adequate footwear (walking boots for example)...
