Purchases made by the Cassis Tourist Office must comply with the fundamental principles of public procurement, i.e. freedom of access to public procurement, equal treatment of candidates and transparency of procedures.
In application of article 28 of the Public Procurement Code, when these purchases are below the thresholds mentioned in II of article 26, they may be awarded according to an adapted procedure, the terms of which are freely determined by the contracting authority according to the nature and characteristics of the need to be met, the number or location of the economic operators likely to meet it and the circumstances of the purchase.
Purchases in excess of €25,000 excluding VAT will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the French Public Procurement Code, in particular article 40 concerning advertising measures.
