A popular international celebration of musical diversity, the Fête de la Musique takes place on June 21, the day of the summer solstice. Its aim is to encourage amateurs and professionals alike to play music in public spaces.
In Cassis, Music Day promises to be a particularly festive occasion. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Place Baragnon will host free pop-rock concerts. At the same time, impromptu stages will spring up all over town: at the harbor, on the beach, and in the village streets.
